…MOST TIMES I JUST WANT YOU WITH ME.
… It says in the sutra that God, or Tathagata, doesn’t himself emanate a world from his womb but it just appears due to the ignorance of sentient beings.”
"But he emanated the sentient beings and their ignorance too. It’s all too pitiful.
I’m from a generation of adapters, like roaches. We don’t like to work, we don’t like to sacrifice unless we are infinitely rewarded. We are selfish and think of our profits before others’ gains. It’s common to say “what’s in it for me”. We see the next generation as entitled brats. But we grew up in the age of prosperity, order was restored from all the atrocities of full blown war and repressive regimes. We are a generation of conformists and we live in contempt. Our previous generation grew up with the notion that hard work will get you everywhere, anywhere, somewhere. Our generation knows networking is the only thing that matters. We don’t like taking initiative. We don’t feel ready to rule yet, but love complaining of old dinosaurs in government and power positions. The next generation is starting riots and civil unrest because of the conformism and the unwillingness to take responsibility of my generation. We are the sheltered generation. The product of a tired human race that has been at war for centuries. We want to party till we die, we don’t think the party is over. Even when the next generation has already called the cops on us. Ever changing, inconstant and always rationalizing our actions. No responsibilities, only one life to live and young forever. We are wrong, and we will die wrong. Leave it to the next generation to stir the crumbling foundations of self government that doesn’t work anymore. Our systems of rule are obsolete, it only takes turning the tv on and seeing how there’s unrest everywhere. It only takes opening the newspapers to see how everything is wrong. We are the bypass generation. We let things happen. The previous generation weeps over our failure to rule the next one can’t wait for us to step aside and let them rule. We let things happen. But we will die young and hip and full of party. Champagne anyone?
